The nose is dominated by gently smoky and woody aromas with scents of grain, bergamot, ripe wheat. The wine opens up gradually to the sweet spices and a fruity dimension raspberry, grapes, pineapple. The palate is remarkably fresh and dynamic with notes of warm plums, figs, pineapple and passion fruit. The finish is both rich and calcareous, iodized and saline, lemony and exotic. A heady and delicious sensation remains on the palate.
This 1er Cru is a rich, powerful, flattering and accessible wine when young.
